NOVOSIL tube cuttings produced in a cost-efficient .dry cut process.
Tubes cut in a dry cut process are scratched at one position and after that mechanically broken.
This cost-efficient process is especially designed for large lot quantities. In terms of rectangularity and roughness of the fracture, it is, however, not equivalent to the wet cut process
.
Furthermore to take care for the tubes not to fall below a certain wall thickness and to keep certain relations of outside diameters and lengths:
Up to diameter 10 mm: L = 7 x outside diameter
As from 11 to 16 mm:L = 10 x outside diameter
