Founded in 1992, Raesch Quarz (Germany) GmbH is one of the world's leading quartz glass melters. At the production facility in Ilmenau, our highly qualified team produces world class quartz glass tube and rods. In addition to these drawn products, our portfolio also includes resized tubes up to 950 mm in outer diameter.
For over 30 years, our customers have appreciated the outstanding optical and thermal properties of our products. Our quartz glass tubes and rods fit a wide range of applications in lighting systems, the chemical industry, the semiconductor and solar industries, and in the production of optical fibers.
Our quartz glass tubes and rods are manufactured in modern induction furnaces using a precise direct drawing process. 

Our state-of-the-art melting furnaces enable the production of tubes with an outer diameter up to 310 mm and various wall thicknesses and lengths. 
Rods are available within the diameter range of 10 to 42 mm. A wide selection of high-quality quartz grades allows us to offer a diverse portfolio of glass qualities.
With Raesch Quarz’ worldwide sales network, we can react quickly and flexibly to small and large projects alike. We provide trim cutting and fire polishing services as required.With our vacuum annealing ovens, we can offer OH content levels as low as <1 ppm. And by working with our trusted quartz fabricators, we can ensure that end users obtain the finished products that they need.
