Short-arc lamps
Short-arc emitters are powerful gas discharge lamps with high radiation power. These include metal halide emitters and xenon short-arc lamps. Due to their luminous efficacy and color rendering index, such high-pressure discharge lamps are the ideal light source for film and video projections. They are used for example in architectural lighting where buildings, monuments or structures are perfectly staged with the help of light projectors. For a demanding short-arc lamp manufacturer, high-purity quartz is indispensable and our tubes have thus been trusted for years in the industry.
UV lamps
UV lamps are quartz glass lamps used in the generation of artificial ultraviolet radiation. These special light sources are utilized in printing presses for varnish and ink curing, for example. The lamps are also used to disinfect surfaces, air and water due to the germicidal effect provided by UV energy. Efficient curing and disinfection systems thus require quartz with the very high UV transmission inherent in our tubes. Combined with the quartz grades and dimensional flexibility that we offer, Raesch can adapt precisely to our customers’ applications.
