As of May 1, 2018, Dr. Susanne Schiermeyer will assume the development tasks of Raesch Quarz (Germany) GmbH as the new Head of Research & Development.
After studying inorganic-non-metallic materials at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Dr. Schiermeyer completed her doctorate at TU Ilmenau with a research focus on the crystallization of a UV-structurable glass in the SiO2-Al2O3-Li2O system.
Dr. Susanne Schiermeyer possesses many years of research experience and a broad knowledge in the development, production, further processing and functionalization of glasses.
In Dr. Schiermeyer’s new position, she will tackle a wide range of R&D tasks and she looks forward to assisting Raesch Quarz’ customers and prospects with their project development challenges.
